Dr. Zhang, Yongxin

Dr.Yongxin Zhang, CEO and president of Zyxell Inc., graduated from Beijing Medical University (Beijing, China) for his MD in 1983 and Ph.D. in 1989 and completed his postdoctoral training in Baylor College of Medicine (Houston, USA) in 2004 for molecular virology and immunology. In this period his studies include transplantation immunology, pathogeneses of viral hepatitis, HIV vaccine and immunoassays.  He worked as a physician in china for more than 10 years before he came to US and he worked for Methrogen Inc., Regenetech Inc, and several other companies as a senior scientist or director of research for over 10 years after he came to USA.

Article Preparation Guidelines

Manuscript title: The article title should not exceed more than 30 words. (Times New Roman font, bold, font size-15)

Author Information: Mention complete names and affiliation of all authors and include complete details of corresponding author such as Telephone number, email id and Fax. (Times New Roman font, bold, font size-11)

Abstract: The abstract should be concise and briefly explain the purpose of the research, the principle results and the conclusion. It should not be more than 350. Authors should mention minimum of 3 key words. (Times New Roman font, bold, font size-11)


Introduction: It should clearly State the objectives of the work and also provide the adequate background information, avoiding a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results. (Times New Roman font, bold, font size-11)

Materials and Methods: This part should provide complete details that would facilitate all procedures to be reciprocated. (Times New Roman font, bold, font size-11)

Results: The results part should be clear and explain concisely. (Times New Roman font, bold, font size-11)

Conclusions: These sections should clearly explain the importance and relevance of the article. (Times New Roman font, bold, font size-11)

Acknowledgement: Mention the individuals, institutions, grant details or research centers who contributed help during the research period. References: The style of referencing used is the Vancouver style. Author name followed by initials, Article title, journal title, Year of publication, volume number, issue number and page number. (Times New Roman font, bold, font size-11)

Tables: All the tables should be cited in the text and description should be given below the table.

Figures: Author are requested to provide high-resolution images,. The aim of the figure legend should be to describe the key messages of the figure and the figure should also be discussed in the text. If a figure has been published before, authors need to submit written permission letter from the copyright holder to reproduce the materials. Figure legend should begin with term 'Figure' followed by figure number (e.g. 'Figure 1').

Article Processing Fee: Medical press open access is a self-funded open access publisher and its operation solely depends on the fee received from the authors.

Authors are requested to make payment once the article has been accepted for publication. If an author cannot afford the Article processing charges genuinely, then individual partial waiver requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and may be granted in cases of genuine need.
